# Getting Started

1. Enable Virtualization [How to disable virtualization](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLUIph_7HXo)
2. Disable SecureBoot [How to disable secure boot](https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop\&v=brXcxmdWU9Q)
3. Disable TPM [How to disable TPM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1V-ZtXzbIQE)
4. Download [Dcontrol](https://www.sordum.org/downloads/?st-defender-control), extract it, password is **sordum**, open it and disable Windows Defender
5. Disable all [Window Security](/penguinby-docs/krush-apex-legends/disable-windows-security-manually.md)
6. Remove any antivirus software from your system (A list of programs, but not limited to, can be find in the windows security guide)
7. Remove any debugging programs from your system (A list of programs, but not limited to, can be find in the windows security guide)
8. Disable Startup / Running processes for FaceIT, Riot and any other anticheat providers prompted
9. Install [Runtimes](/penguinby-docs/krush-apex-legends/install-runtimes-and-directx.md) and [DirectX](/penguinby-docs/krush-apex-legends/install-runtimes-and-directx.md) libraries
10. Disable ANY other overlay that are not required for the product usage (Overwolf, Steelseries, Steam, etc etc...)
